| Corpus Christi was one of 10
cities nationwide and the only one in Texas selected for
the 2003 All American City award. Corpus Christi is home
to the Lexington Museum, Texas State Aquarium, Art Museum
of Corpus Christi, and Asian Cultures Museum & Educational
Center. The city is a major deep water port (one of the
top 5 in the United States) and one of Texas' most popular
seacoast playground cites. Corpus Christi is home to two
sports teams, Corpus Christi Rays Hockey Team and Corpus
Christi Hooks baseball team. Institutions of higher learning
located in the city are Del Mar College and Texas A &
M -Corpus Christi. American Bank Center is host to Corpus
Christi Symphony, community concerts, musicals and road
